For example Pre-Ballet 1A is the same level as Pre-Ballet 1D however different from Pre-Ballet IID. Email and phone requests will be answered after June 13th in the order they are received. Dancers joining Ballet I-IV (and Boys Ballet, Advanced Beginning, Intermediate) please pre-register for the recommended Fall 2016/Spring 2017 class(es) to make sure you can have your desired class day and time and then plan to attend the auditions listed below.

CBA's Pre-Professional class types include: Ballet, Contemporary, Modern & Jazz.
Dancers need to audition to be a part of the Pre-Professional Dance Program that includes Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Modern. The professional world of ballet is requiring dancers to be extremely well rounded in multiple forms of dance. CBA wants to prepare dancers for the professional ballet world, professional dance world and college dance programs. Dancers auditioning will be able to indicate on their audition form if they would like to be considered for the Pre-Professional Ballet Program and/or other classes within the Pre-Professional Dance Program (such as Contemporary, Jazz and Modern).
Class placement will be determined at the auditions. It is very common for dancers to remain in a level for more than one year or “max out” at a particular level. Please trust that Classical Ballet Academy will always place students in the best class for each individual dancer. Dancers do not move to classes based on age and/or carpooling; rather on technical level and social readiness. If your dancer wishes to remain in their current level, join our Open Teen/Adult program or is unable to attend the auditions please email the Director. All dancers enrolled in Pre-Professional classes and who adhere to rehearsal requirements will be allowed to participate in the winter performances. If you are new to CBA feel free to contact the office prior to the August auditions and/or attend drop in classes to determine your possible level for the Fall 2015-Spring 2016 academic year.
